Sponsor our Children - "SoC"
Sponsor our Children is a program that we began several years ago. The goal of SoC is to provide comprehensive care for the Roma gypsy children. The “4 Pillars” of care that we provide are: spiritual, physical, educational and emotional.
By God’s grace, our ministry to the precious Roma children is happening in 2 villages; Parag and Lončarevo. Many children are being helped, and it is a true joy to see God’s grace bearing fruit in their young lives!
If you would like to support our SoC program, monthly donations of $35 will help all the children in the program.
“For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God. Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all, while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:12-15).

SoC weekly Bible studies
We offer numerous Bible studies during the week, as well as on Saturday afternoons. We are deeply grateful to the Lord for how He is working through His word to impact the lives of the children in the program. The children are becoming walking-talking Bibles… in their families, among their friends, and in their schools!
SoC quarterly projects
- "Back to School"
This annual project occurs every August-September, and it provides much-needed school supplies, clothing, and various miscellaneous items for the Roma children. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn, and we want to make sure that our children have all they need to get the best education possible.
- "Christmas in Croatia"
We have been holding this event on an annual basis for several years, and it has been a true honor to bless the Roma children. Unfortunately, Christmas can be very bleak and meaningless in most villages. Spiritual and physical poverty is everywhere. We thank the Lord that He continues to provide us the opportunity to bless the children with Christmas gifts, AND to share with them (and their parents) the Great News of the Greatest Gift… salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ!
SoC cultural excursions
Throughout the year we take the SoC children on various excursions/field trips. The goal is to introduce them to special, historical landmarks in Croatia. It is a fruitful time full of education, enjoyment, and Bible study to help provide a biblical perspective on things. The children get to experience cultural and historical settings they would have never heard of…or even dreamt about!
SoC building projects
We recently sponsored 2 bathroom building projects in the Roma gypsy villages where we serve. These projects were designed to provide desperately needed indoor bathrooms, a luxury that is very easy for us to take for granted. Our goal for the building projects is to provide the Roma people (especially the precious children in our program) the facilities they need to be able to live healthy and productive lives.
